Asselia is a Research Associate at the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP), leading research across several projects with a focus on the circular economy and sustainability within the construction industry. Her current work includes the IMPACTT project, aimed at improving transparency in timber supply chains. This involves mapping the supply chains of timber buildings and communicating the carbon impact and biodiversity conditions in forests to construction sector stakeholders, bridging the gap between the forestry and construction sectors.

Prior to joining ASBP, Asselia completed a PhD degree at Loughborough University, focusing on traceability and ethical sourcing of building materials.
