Caroline Hairsine
Caroline originally started her career as a Civil Engineer before moving in to the insurance industry over 20 years ago. With a career that has spanned across broking and underwriting she has gained a wealth of experience across the construction insurance sector. She was EMEA Head of Civil Construction for Zurich where she was responsible for the strategy and portfolio management for a GWP350m+ book of business across the region before moving to CNA Hardy to be the Class Underwriter for Construction. Caroline joined Aviva in 2019 as Head of Construction & LDI where she has worked on developing construction insurance solutions for mass timber buildings as well as other modern methods of construction linked to the decarbonisation of construction.
