Pooran studied at Oxford and Cambridge Universities before becoming a serial social entrepreneur, real estate developer and sustainability advisor. He is Founder and CEO of OnePlanet.com which is providing tools for cities, companies and community groups to create, share and connect plans for building a sustainable future. He remains an Associate of Bioregional, the international environmental organisation which he co-founder in 1994. Whilst at Bioregional, he put together the UK’s first zero carbon village development, BedZED, and led on the creation of the One Planet Living® framework used on over $30bn of zero carbon real estate projects in over thirty countries.
