Walter Swann

Arcelor Mittal

Walter draws down on over 30 years of design experience in the construction sector to lead ArcelorMittal’s Steligence Engineering team in the UK, a business unit that advises and supports clients, architects and engineers to design and deliver buildings with low overall environmental impact using a palette of “best in class products”. Recently Walter has worked with the Institution of Structural Engineers to deepen the industries understanding of the provenance of the steel used in the many and varied steel products used in construction, and how working with and understanding the supply chain can lead to informed decisions and strategies to reduce embodied carbon in buildings.
