Climate vulnerability and adaptation
Hydrock delivered a climate risk study with recommendations for climate adaptation on a 26.3ha state-of-the-art university campus to ensure long-term resilience and continuity for students and research studies.
In this film, the University of Nottingham's Head of Sustainability, Gavin Scott, and Senior Environment Officer, Amy Scoins, position why it was important to the university to understand these long-term risks, and how with Hydrock's help a framework was established to identify likeliness and thresholds of impact for different buildings across the campus, which has the benefit of identifying where resilience programmes are best deployed.
