Minimass

minimass is a game-changing family of structural elements, such as beams, for construction of large buildings and bridges. Construction urgently needs to decarbonise but low carbon solutions typically cost more, and the industry is already at breaking point with material costs up by 50% since 2020. We’ve found a way to vastly reduce both carbon and cost by capitalising on existing 3D concrete printing technology in an innovative way. Through design optimisation, minimass uses far less material – i.e. minimizes mass - cutting carbon emissions by up to 70% and supply cost by up to 35% versus traditional concrete and steel, for equivalent proportions & performance.
