London Councils x Birmingham: Building the Capacity we need to deliver Retrofit at the City Scale
London and Birmingham unite to share their progress on their respective Housing Retrofit Programmes. Starting with a presentation of the level of investment needed in the UK’s two largest urban areas panellists will ask the following questions:
- Why are cities the best place for the retrofit programmes to take off?
- How do we build capacity in the supply chain?
- What are the skills gaps and how can they be filled?
- How can cities work together to influence central government policy and private sector activity?
