Places for London Sustainable Estate Framework: Delivering regeneration
This session explores how Places for London is using its Sustainable Estate Framework (SEF) to transform the development and long-term management of its portfolio. With a target of delivering 20,000 homes by 2031 50% affordable the SEF embeds ambitious net-zero and high-performance standards across major sites including High Barnet and Bollo Lane.
Focusing on low-carbon delivery, the session explains each aspect of the SEF and how it works. Attendees will gain insight into how the framework’s nine dimensions and extensive KPI set drive outcomes such as vibrant communities, healthier environments, and stronger local economies.
The session will also examine how this works in practice through specific project examples; placing emphasis on stewardship balancing new development with retrofit while enabling active travel, reducing living costs, and creating long-term social and environmental value.
