Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+?
Sustainable design solutions require collaborative efforts across all of the building disciplines and FOOTPRINT+ provides a unique opportunity to learn from those that are doing it well and delivering against the carbon reduction imperative.
FOOTPRINT+ is an opportunity to get a temperature check on what is happening in the industry and have conversations with those at the forefront of research and day-to-day project experiences. As far as we're aware, this is the only conference with this collection of topics and delegates.
What did you hear about / experience at our last year’s event which has made you want to come back?
It was great attending Brighton, by the sea, with the weather last year! We wanted to return to a forum where everyone in the room is focussed on sustainable design priorities.
Being able to have in person conversations about products or services we are using greatly helps with our understanding. For example, we had some specific queries about the PANDA software created by Price + Myers and were able to have a face-to-face conversation to help answer some of the questions we had.
The networking sessions were a great way to speak to others with similar experiences in delivering projects with a sustainability agenda, alongside catching up with contacts and consultants away from day-to-day project work.
When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?
Our passion, commitment and experience in sustainable design.
Current project experiences and any research, case studies or ideas we've come across.
What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?
Talking to peers and hearing how others are tackling the climate challenges.
We come away from the conference inspired and full of new ways to approach projects or tackle specific subjects. We're excited to learn about what others in the industry have been doing and taking this knowledge back and sharing it with our colleagues.
