Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+?
We need to galvanise around a common purpose to solve the climate and ecological crisis, that needs an integrated response and a teamwork approach. FOOTPRINT+ offers a platform for cooperation, and the building of trust between parties that are too often in conflict.
What did you hear about / experience at our last year’s event which has made you want to come back?
There seemed to be a level of optimism that I welcome. The event demonstrates that there is a critical mass of players willing to cooperate in order to make the change that is so desperately needed.
When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?
I will be advocating for enriched environmental response where a zero carbon future isn’t just a technical exercise but needs to go hand-in-hand with the creation of architecture that is imaginative spatially, is socially just and uplifts the human spirit.
What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?
