Q&A with Andrew Murdock, Managing Director at Kind Supply
Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+
This decade is seen as the tipping point for climate change. We need more time to reduce our industries' impact. The built environment in the UK is linked to around 40% of carbon emissions and 60% of material use and waste alone. Reducing the construction industry's environmental impact is a key priority. The three sectors need to align and cooperate quickly to achieve real change!
What did you hear about / experience at our last year’s event which has made you want to come back?
The quality of attendees.
When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?
Bio-based and low impact materials, systems and solutions that are credible alternatives to current prevalent options.
What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?
Systems change in the construction industry. Connecting like-minded individuals and companies build a network of businesses and professionals that can deliver change and inspire others to do the same. FOOTPRINT+ is another step on the journey.
