Q&A with Dave Blood, Sales Director at Love Your Workspace

What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?

The opportunity to connect with like-minded people who believe that focusing on sustainability can have a huge impact on the health of both our buildings and our planet.

Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+?

You need to have joined-up thinking. Otherwise, one solution may cause a problem in another area, which could then lead to a bigger detrimental impact. But by working together as a team, we can design better buildings right from conception.

What did you hear about / experience at our last year’s event which has made you want to come back?

We were involved at the last minute last year, and it was one of the best exhibitions we attended.  The positivity in the room was humbling, and there was a real feeling that this could really work and make a huge difference going forward.  It was incredible to talk to so many people on the same wave length.

When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?

That the furniture that goes into buildings can have a positive impact, from reducing waste to innovative designs and groundbreaking materials.
