Q&A with Graham Munday, Marketing Director at Hydrock

Q&A with Graham Munday, Marketing Director at Hydrock

What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?

Inspiration, shared learnings and being part of a collaborative movement across the built environment sector that is committed to change.

Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning, and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+?

Only by learning, talking and working together will we deliver the fundamental long-term change needed to reduce the impact our sector has on the environment, whilst celebrating all the positive things that are made possible by safe, inclusive, and innovative property and infrastructure design.

What did you hear about / experience at our last year’s event which has made you want to come back?

There was a real buzz. An enthusiasm to learn, talk, and share ideas. Hearing from local authorities, the finance community and users who wanted to commission low-carbon solutions, was especially valuable.

When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?

Hydrock will be talking about how to adapt our built environment to the undisputed impacts of climate change. We will outline our approach to evidence-based climate risk studies that establish both physical and transitional risks, and shape an adaptation strategy. Only by adapting and respecting our natural environment will we secure long-term value from the assets we enjoy today.
