Q&A with Jonas Lencer, Director at dRMM
Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+?
Collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and expertise are essential in tackling the paradigm shift required of the built environment sector. We need to give further evidence to policy makers of an appetite for change within the industry, and FOOTPRINT+ provides the ideal forum for this.
What did you hear about / experience at our last year’s event which has made you want to come back?
It was the perfect event to get updated on who are the market leaders, what innovations they're working on, and how they're bringing about the needed evolution to the sector. We appreciated the focused discussions across all the themed stages which moved beyond corporate slogans.
When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?
dRMM have a long legacy in design innovation with a focus on engineered timber, and experience in effective holistic sustainability outcomes within our projects. We would like to share insights gleaned from this work, along with emerging outcomes from the studio’s funded research projects.
What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?
Examples of great work, research and know-how, leading to new or reinforced partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
