Q&A with Kayleigh Nobbs, Head of Design, Ambit

Q&A with Kayleigh Nobbs, Head of Design, Ambit

Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning, and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+?

When the UK's property, planning, and sustainability sectors converge at FOOTPRINT+, it allows for a unified and actionable approach to tackling environmental challenges. Collaboration across these sectors leads to innovative and cohesive strategies for addressing sustainability through design, construction, and governance.

What did you hear about / experience at last year’s event that has made you want to come back?

The previous FOOTPRINT+ event was insightful, especially the discourse on circular reuse and ESG initiatives in the fit-out industry. The commitment shown by our industry peers in setting environmental goals centred on circular economy principles highlighted FOOTPRINT+ as a stand-out event for Ambit to be involved in.

When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?

At FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024, I'll be sharing insights from Ambit's extensive experience in delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B projects with a focus on sustainability. This includes our approach to using sustainable materials and promoting equality and diversity, as well as our waste management partnerships that support net-zero carbon construction options.

What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?

I'm aiming to gain further innovative ideas for sustainable solutions in fit-out projects, and to foster relationships with other leaders in the industry. The exchange of best practices and the latest advancements in materials, techniques, and technology will be invaluable for enhancing Ambit's ongoing sustainability initiatives and ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry standards.
