Q&A with Martin Fahey, Head of Sustainability at Mitsubishi Electric

Q&A with Martin Fahey, Head of Sustainability at Mitsubishi Electric

What are you looking to get out of the FOOTPRINT+ event?

Great knowledge as to what is being done to achieve our Net Zero goals and finding new partners to work with to achieve them.

Why is it important that the UK’s property, planning, and sustainability sectors come together at FOOTPRINT+?

In a word, collaboration. We know the goal, a Net Zero world by 2050 latest, but to get there it will require all of us to work together, applying the solutions that exist today such as heat pumps while looking for the solutions we are yet to apply.

What did you hear about / experience at our last year’s event which has made you want to come back?

I was fortunate enough to speak at one of the sessions last year, it was clear to me in that session and from other discussions I had, that the audience was knowledgeable and curious to learn more to apply to their own projects

When you attend FOOTPRINT+ in May 2024 what will you be sharing with conference delegates, policy makers, your partners, and your industry peers?

Our journey as a manufacturer of some of the key solutions is continuing at pace, I would be looking to share these developments with other delegates while learning of other innovations and opportunities to collaborate
