Brian McCarron
Brian is an Associate Director at Buckley Gray Yeoman with over 20 years of professional experience in the built environment. As a Studio Leader, he oversees multiple projects of varying scales and complexity, guiding them from early concept through to completion.
He combines a highly professional and conscientious approach with a strong technical understanding of architecture and the built environment. Driven by a commitment to delivering sustainable, intelligent, and engaging outcomes, Brian focuses on creating projects that enrich the experiences of the people they serve.
Recognised for his technical rigour, he has a proven ability to deliver complex, large‑scale schemes across all project stages, while also championing sustainability within the design process. Brian has been at BGY for 11 years, contributing to a wide range of the studio’s most ambitious and technically challenging projects.
His experience spans commercial, infrastructure, and retail sectors, with particular expertise in complex, large-scale developments. His portfolio includes new-build office schemes as well as deep-cut‑and carve-out retrofit projects across a variety of scales.
Brian also sits on BGY’s internal Technical Design Review Panel, bringing specialist expertise in façade design, building systems, and technical delivery across all RIBA stages.
