David Cowdrey
David is the Director of External Affairs at MCS Charitable Foundation and has worked for a number of high profile environmental and conservation organisations over the last 25 years lobbying for political change within the UK and engaging the media. David’s has delivered many important advocacy campaigns over his career from ivory bans, to removing VAT on domestic renewables and energy efficiency measures and attend Climate COPs and built coalitions to work together to achieve positive outcomes for the environment. David has a passion for political advocacy campaigning to create real substantive change and works extensively across the UK political environment. He is currently working to deliver a Net Zero future through the decarbonisation of homes, heat and energy and working on the Future Homes Standard.
David is also a keen wildlife photographer and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
