Isabel de la Mora Mier qualified as an Architect in Spain in 2008, also completing a degree in Landscape Design. She moved to London gaining experience on high profile international projects and in 2016 joined Piercy & Company to lead several of the studio’s key commercial projects, including Boston Consulting Group's new London headquarters.
Isabel has established her reputation on transforming existing buildings, within the ever-changing realm of office design. She continues this work as Project Architect at 1 Appold Street in London’s Broadgate - the complex and sustainably ambitious project to re-imagine the building, retaining 75% of the primary structure and adding six levels and new mixed uses.
Isabel is a regular teacher at the Architectural Association, as well as a guest juror at several other universities.
Piercy&Company is a British design studio of architects, interior designers and creatives with a shared passion for materials, form, technology and craft. The studio designs at all scales - from masterplans and tall buildings to interiors and furniture - unified by a desire to improve the human experience in a way that is poetic, contextual, resilient and climate responsive. Research partnerships with UCL and Westminster University are integral to the Studio’s approach and many of the senior team hold academic posts. Piercy&Company’s research driven approach to design has resulted in a portfolio of award-winning buildings in the commercial, cultural and residential sectors
