Dr Jonathan Dewsbury is Chief Sustainability Officer at DfE, UK. He is also responsible for delivering the DfE’s Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy.

Jon is a Senior Civil Servant, Project Delivery Professional, and a Chartered Engineer. He has delivered major projects in both the private and public sector. Projects ranging from research, engineering, construction, software, crisis, transformational change, corporate reform and product distribution. He has a passion for innovative solutions and driving change. He was awarded his Engineering Doctorate for novel numerical modelling techniques for complex geometry in geomechanics. He is a graduate of both the University of Southampton and Said Business School, University of Oxford.
