Katerina Papavasileiou is a director in the Real Estate team at Federated Hermes Limited, where she specializes in ESG and responsibility.

Katerina joined Federated Hermes in 2022 and is responsible for ESG strategy and implementation for the Federated Hermes Real Estate team, including Real Estate Debt. Previously, Katerina worked at JLL, leading portfolio level strategic implementation of ESG considerations, developing asset-level specific action plans for climate change and risk, biodiversity, circular economy and social value. She has led the responsibility agenda for several construction and urban regeneration projects in London. She has also supported Associated British Ports with their 2050 energy transition and advised National Rail’s Real Estate team on the execution of their sustainability strategy.

Katerina holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Technology, and a master’s degree in Applied Economics and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. She earned her MPhil in Environmental Policy from University of Cambridge, UK.
