Leah is a transport, traffic and street design engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in urban regeneration and transport planning. Leah is passionate about making great places which have longevity, flexibility and resilience. A proponent of making active travel an easy and accessible choice for everyone, she believes that the quality of the public realm of our streets and spaces can have a huge impact on quality of life, both for people and for the wider biosphere. Having worked extensively in development and regeneration, Leah has contributed to supplementary planning documents and looked at district-wide strategies for implementing transport and infrastructure solutions to best support future growth and promote healthier lives. She is currently working on resurrecting the derelict Rutland Mills in Wakefield, regenerating Europe’s largest listed building at Park Hill in Sheffield and repurposing outdated highway infrastructure at Queensway, Southend-on Sea
