Will Mesher

Associate Director , Haworth Tomkins

Will joined Haworth Tompkins in 2001, becoming an Associate in 2013 and Associate Director in 2018. He is an experienced architect specialising in complex existing buildings and has worked on nationally significant cultural projects including Battersea Arts Centre, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Bristol Old Vic, the Phase 2 refurbishment and extension of the Grade II Listed London Library and the Everyman Theatre Liverpool, a transformative redevelopment that won the Stirling Prize. Most recently he led the refurbishment of Theatr Clwyd for Flintshire County Council, a 1970s, Grade II Listed arts complex that required comprehensive refurbishment. The project prioritised adaptive reuse enabling the theatre to expand its role as Wales’ largest producing house and a cultural centrepiece for the region.
