Michèle has over 16 years private sector experience as a qualified Architect. Between 2010-2020 she worked in the international humanitarian and development sector focussed on the delivery of post-disaster emergency shelter, housing (permanent), health and educational infrastructure (re)construction.

Since 2020, employed as Principal Development Coordinator (Housing and Regeneration Directorate) at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Facilitating innovative and practical solutions to tackling cumulative negative impacts of construction on residents and businesses at an area wide scale. Most recently her focus is on developing policy, guidance and practical solutions to address embodied carbon in construction across the borough.
