Mitakshi Sirsi
Mitakshi leads the Sustainability charge at Broadway Malyan, helping the global architecture and urbanism practice understand, address and improve their impact on a range of sustainability and responsible business themes, both internally and in their wider value chain. She draws from her experience in a wide range of areas within the built environment sector such as policy, research, design, engineering and sustainability in business & corporate real estate in her work, hoping to bridge the existing gaps in these areas and push for better outcomes across the board.
As a young parent and almost-millennial, she proudly brings her activist self to work and believes doing this is a very important step towards leaving behind a world that is better than the one her generation have inherited.
She trained as an architect and holds a master’s in environmental design and engineering (EDE) from the Bartlett, UCL. She currently chairs the Sustainability Committee as a part of CoreNet UK’s Operating Board, is a part of working groups for the BCO Fit-Out Guide (2022) and was also a part of the pioneering ‘BCO Wellness Matters’ research project in 2018.
