Rachel Hoolahan
Architect and Sustainability Coordinator,
Orms Architects
Rachel is the winner of the AJ100 Sustainability Champion Award 2021, an award she won in large part due to her recent research collaboration on material passports with the Grosvenor Estate. This research provides a methodology for encouraging more meaningful material reuse and true circular construction by creating a material database for the project.
Orms Architects is a leading London practice with extensive experience working with existing buildings, including the award-winning The Standard in Kings Cross. For the past few years, the practice has engaged in a series of deep research assignments and is utilising this data and knowledge to push the boundaries of sustainable development – both in refurbishment and new build projects.
