Rebecca Thomas is a Director at Fathom Architects, and led the team for the 70,000sqft heritage retrofit of The Waterman for client BGO. Bringing experience of retrofit and new build projects in sensitive contexts, Rebecca is skilled at realising potential from existing buildings and spaces.
As well as workspace and residential projects, Rebecca has led development plans for the Science & Technology Facilities Councils – the UK government agency for scientific research and innovation – to help prepare their sites for a more sustainable future.
Outside of projects, Rebecca is a mentor for RIBA Future Architects, a contributor to The Bartlett’s Future Practice series and a Design Review Panel member of The Westminster Society.
