Over the last four years, Robin Dodyk has been Head of MMC for Cala Group Ltd. and prior to that Technical Director of Oregon Timber Frame. Among other things, his main responsibility is introducing and driving the use of Timber Frame for all low-rise development within the five English regions. From a low base of less than 3% the strategy is to grow this figure to 80% by the start 2027; by comparison, the three Scottish regions currently build 90% of homes in timber frame and have done so for many a year. The eventual total of around 3500 units will heavily contribute to Cala’s 2040 net zero targets.
