Since joining AHMM Susan has played a key role in many of the practice’s award-winning projects including the RIBA Stirling Prize winning Burntwood Academy, and the Stirling Prize shortlisted Kentish Town Health Centre and Westminster Academy.

Susi has strong experience in delivering cultural projects including leading the design teams for the phased refurbishment and extension of Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre, and the transformation of the Curtis Green building in Westminster to create New Scotland Yard, the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Service.

Recently, Susi has worked on the Television Centre, which was the first purpose television studio in the UK and has been radically reinvented through a site-wide masterplan regeneration as a new, fully mixed-use development. She is currently leading the design team for 1 Broadgate, a mixed-use development for British Land including retail space arranged around a new retail arcade with office floors above.

Outside her project work Susi takes the lead in having a practice-wide view of project resources and recruitments while having formal responsibility for co-ordinating the practice’s model-making workshop
