Tom Wigg
Following a Master’s in astrophysics, Tom has spent the last 7 years working in sustainability in the built environment. Firstly, as a consultant delivering full spectrum sustainability and energy support on projects ranging from individual offices to mixed use, 10,000 home masterplans, before joining the UKGBC’s Advancing Net Zero (ANZ) programme as a Senior Advisor on Net Zero Carbon Buildings eighteen months ago. Tom sits on the Technical Steering Group of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard initiative and is leading UKGBC’s project to deliver version 2 of their guidance on Renewable Energy Procurement. He also sits on the CRREM Global Scientific and Industry Panel, LETI steering group, BECD steering group, NABERS steering group, and is part of the Whole Life Carbon Network (WLCN).
