The FOOTPRINT+ founders have come together to create a unique annual exhibition and conference showcasing cutting-edge ways to tackle the carbon footprint of the property industry. The founding partners behind the event includes award winning architects Tim Pyne and Emily Day together with property developer Sophie Law-Smith.
Founders
Tim Pyne: Founder
As founder and owner of WORK, Tim designed over £50m worth of the Millennium Dome exhibitions for New Labour, and won 2 RIBA awards for the 4 zones he designed. This included the Environment zone which used Brighton beach as a backdrop. Tim was founding Creative Director of 100% Design and Detail in the UK, Tokyo and Moscow.
Other events include:
- Creative Director to The International Festival of Business in Liverpool 2014
- Creative Director of the London Boat Show
- Creative Director to the London Motor Show, the Blenheim Fashion Group and DMG Worldwide.
- Designer of London Fashion Week for several years
- Designer of large private and lottery funded museum and visitor-attraction projects including the National Maritime Museum, the Commonwealth Institute and the Science Museum.
Tim lives with his wife and daughter in Hove.
Emily Day: Founder
Emily Day is a chartered architect with over 20 years of experience working on large scale projects. Emily has worked with many key players within the industry; local authorities, developers and financial institutions which has given her a unique insight into the needs of the different parties
Local authority clients have included:

- Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
- Rutland Council
- North Devon District Council
- Cornwall Council
Projects completed include major residential
developments and urban planning, mixed use developments, speculative office, hospitality, educational estates and community developments up to £6bn in value.
Emily lives and works in Hove.

James is the UK Planning Director at Moda Living who are delivering inclusive amenity rich build to rent schemes across the UK from Scotland to the south coast. James has nearly 30 years of property industry planning experience and has served on a series of multi-disciplinary and development company boards during his career. James is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, is a Trustee on a number of charities as well as being a Governor at Manchester Cathedral working alongside the Lord Lieutenant for Greater Manchester.
James spends his time with Government, local authorities and community representatives in creating Next Generation Neighbourhoods and buildings of exceptional quality and lifestyle valve.
William Edgerley: Development
William's core skills are in implementing, structuring and negotiating property projects and investments - skills gained over 25 years in the property industry. As MD or CEO of various P & O
companies, William has been responsible for many high-value and high-profile property projects.
These include widely differing projects, from the London Gateway development in Thurrock - a complex joint venture. To Drakes Circus in Plymouth and the York Science Park.
William has experience leading teams including professionals such as lawyers, architects, planners, engineers, project managers and accountants by providing support to colleagues and he is always excited to see projects complete successfully.
